Vidrovr is an early-stage company, currently a part of Techstars NYC 2017 Winter cohort. Vidrovr analyzes the information inside videos to make them searchable and discoverable.
As the Design Associate of Techstars, I helped the Vidrovr team redesign their website, which included information architecture, UX/UI design, and storytelling/messaging.
Deliverables included: Website redesign, Messaging/Content strategy for website.
We started off by discussing the essential content Vidrovr wanted to keep on the site. We wireframed the different pages and I asked the team to provide me with a text document of what Vidrovr did and what their value proposition was. It was important for me to understand not only the technology, but their vision of the company. With that text, I wrote and edited the copy of the website and designed the various pages of the site.
After examining their existing site, I knew that the major problems were that you didn't know what to do when you got there (no call to action), who they were speaking to (target audience), and what they actually offered you (product). We made sure that the copy would be clear in addressing all those things and that there would be a story you could follow.
