OVERVIEW

Tribeca Film Institute is a year-round non-profit arts organization that champions storytellers to be catalysts for change in their communities and around the world. TFI empowers filmmakers through funding and resources to fully realize their stories and connect with audiences. TFI New Media Fund, in partnership with the Ford Foundation, is a program within the Institute that funds and supports non-fiction, social issue media projects which go beyond traditional screens, integrating film with content across media platforms from apps to video games. TFI Interactive Day is an event held by TFI New Media Fund and the Ford Foundation during the Tribeca Film Festival, bringing together leading thinkers and pioneers from the fields of film, media, gaming, technology, and education to share their insights, inspire content creators, and explore storytelling in the digital age.

Deliverables included: Digital and print invitation, signage, screen design, survey, custom buttons, and a general TFI folded brochure.

 

PROCESS

During the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival, I supported all the narrative, documentary, and education programs within the Institute, but one project that I had a lot of fun designing for was TFI Interactive Day and the TFI New Media Fund Cocktail Reception. There were many parts involved and I really enjoyed that I was designing for the entire experience, from coaster invites to screen graphics.
