Tribeca Film Institute is a year-round non-profit arts organization that champions storytellers to be catalysts for change in their communities and around the world. TFI empowers filmmakers through funding and resources to fully realize their stories and connect with audiences. Their education programs empower students through hands-on training and exposure to socially relevant films, offering young people the media skills necessary to be creative and productive global citizens.
When I joined Tribeca Film Institute, I was tasked to rebrand both their artist and education programs. There were many departments and programs that did not have a united look and feel. I was tasked to establish a visual identity (logo, fonts, colors) for both artist and education programs. There were 7 artist programs and 5 education programs at the time. Below you will see the identity design for the education programs.
The 5 education progams had varying identities that did not unify under the Tribeca brand. They did however seem to use blue and green across their programs, so I decided to use those colors in varying ways. I created icons to distinguish the different programs and integrated them into the program name.
